At Schwannecke Sports Construction, a court is never just a surface. It’s where competition thrives, relationships deepen, and community grows stronger.
Based in Middle Tennessee, Schwannecke Sports Construction specializes in building and surfacing high-quality courts that perform, last, and stand out visually. From private backyard installations to expansive public sports complexes, we approach each residential and commercial project with precision, pride, and unwavering attention to detail.
We develop premium pickleball, tennis, basketball, and multi-use courts with their intended use in mind. For some, it’s a place to train and compete. For others, it’s where families gather, neighbors connect, and people make lifelong memories. That responsibility drives the level of care and craftsmanship we apply throughout the entire process.
Schwannecke Sports Construction is led by owner Tobin Schwannecke, whose hands-on approach and commitment to excellence shape every job the company takes on. As a former collegiate basketball player, Tobin draws on firsthand experience in competitive athletics, understanding not only how to construct courts but also how they need to play.
Tobin isn’t interested in cutting corners or treating courts as ordinary construction work. He believes each project deserves thoughtful planning, careful execution, and a finished product that reflects genuine pride in the craft. That mindset has helped define the company from the beginning and continues to guide how we manage builds today.
Whether the job involves installing a brand-new court or restoring an existing surface, Tobin brings years of court construction expertise and a strong respect for the people investing in it. His goal is simple: create spaces that look outstanding, perform consistently, and leave clients proud of the final result.
At the center of Schwannecke Sports Construction is something deeper than construction. It’s family.
Tobin grew up alongside his two brothers, TJ and Tanner, both Division I track athletes, in a home where competition was part of everyday life. Their parents instilled in them the value of working with intensity, pushing limits, and showing up each day with purpose.
Over time, they came to understand that competition isn’t just about winning. It’s also about growth, discipline, and connection. It brings out the best in people, strengthens relationships, and plays a powerful role in both physical and mental well-being. This belief remains a driving force behind the company’s work today.
In many ways, the story has come full circle. Tobin’s parents are now avid pickleball players, fully embracing the same competitive spirit they passed down to their sons. They were also part of the business’s earliest days, helping create the first courts that launched it.
Those early projects were about more than building courts. They were about building something together. That same focus on connection carries into all our projects. We deliver spaces that bring people together, encourage healthy competition, and leave a lasting impact across families, schools, parks, hotels, and the communities they serve.
Schwannecke Sports Construction provides complete, start-to-finish solutions for residential and commercial athletic courts. From the earliest design decisions to the final surface and finishing details, we handle each phase with proven materials and careful attention to how the court will look, perform, and hold up over time.
